March 2021. The bars closed. The terraces were empty. And hundreds of bottles of artisanal vermouth sat unsold in the warehouse of my GREAT FRIEND, Toni from Xerta.

While the rest of Spain stayed home, the small family-run wineries that had been crafting artisanal vermouths for generations faced their worst crisis. No open bars, no customers, no immediate future.

That's when vermutrojo.com was born, not to create vermouth, but to rescue it. To give a voice to those wineries that held centuries-old recipes and authentic flavors, but had no way of reaching the glasses of those who appreciated them.

We turned a problem into a mission: to bring the best artisanal vermouths from all over Spain directly to your home. No middlemen. Just real vermouth, from real wineries, for people who appreciate the authentic.

Today we continue to be that bridge between tradition and your table. Because every bottle tells a story, and we make sure it reaches you.
